FAQ
Are there descriptions of these two categories anywhere?
We are leaving the categories fairly open for this first event – with the assumption that a lot of people are doing a lot of unique things and we don’t want to rule out entries because we didn’t foresee a particular use of video that some creative team might have come up with. We figure entries and questions that come up around them this year may help us refine the categories for the future. In the meantime, video is pretty much any news related Web video your publication has created, and multimedia basically means audio slideshows.
By "festival" do you mean the fall conference?
Yes.
Do we have to mail the entries or is there a way to send them electronically?
We’re asking folks to burn the entries to a CD or DVD this year.
What is the time period which entries must be from? And is it when they were shot, or first posted on website?
Anything posted to your Web site before May 31, 2008 is fair game.
